Lifeguard/Aquatics Instructor

St. Andrew’s College is currently accepting applications for a part-time Lifeguard/Aquatics Instructor for the 2024-2025 school year.
 
Job Duties:
  • Provide aquatics supervision and emergency prevention and response.
  • Accountable for the safe operation of the aquatics program and adherence to all regulations.
  • Welcome and educate all pool users on safety procedures.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 16 years of age
  • Completion of high school diploma preferred
  • Current CPR-C, Standard First Aid, National Lifeguard Certification, and Aquatic Instructor Certification
  • Ability to deal courteously and effectively with all pool users, including outside organizations, emergency service agencies, program participants, and staff
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday, 2 to 6:30 p.m.
  • A current Vulnerable Sector Screening reference check is required 
  • NCCP Community Sport Coach – Fundamentals Coach Course (Swimming101) and NCCP Competition Coach – Age Group Coach Course (Swimming 201) are preferable.
