Lifeguard/Aquatics Instructor

St. Andrew’s College is currently accepting applications for a part-time Lifeguard/Aquatics

Instructor for the 2025-2026 school year.

Job Duties:

Provide aquatics supervision and emergency prevention and response.
Accountable for the safe operation of the aquatics program and adherence to all regulations.
Welcome and educate all pool users on safety procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum 16 years of age
Completion of high school diploma preferred
Current CPR-C, Standard First Aid, National Lifeguard Certification, and Aquatic
Instructor Certification
Ability to deal courteously and effectively with all pool users, including outside
organizations, emergency service agencies, program participants, and staff
Availability to work Monday to Friday, 2 to 6:30 p.m.
A current Vulnerable Sector Screening reference check is required
Completion of NCCP Community Sport Coach – Fundamentals Coach Course

(Swimming101) and the NCCP Competition Coach – Age Group Coach Course

(Swimming 201) is preferred but not required.
