School is back in session!

St. Andrew’s College is celebrating its 125^th birthday this year, and students and staff are gearing up for this milestone year.

The year started with New Family Orientation Days on Tuesday (Grades 9 to 11) and Wednesday (Grades 5 to 8). Prefects, resplendent in the kilts during perfect back-to-school weather, were stationed on campus to welcome students and their families. Boarding house faculty and students were on hand to help the newcomers settle into their rooms and get a taste of the St. Andrew’s community spirit.

 

Classes commenced on Thursday, Sept. 5, with a full-school assembly at 8:45 a.m. in Ketchum Auditorium/Wirth Theatre. Students will dive into their new schedules, collect their brand-new laptops, and set the stage for an exciting academic year. Friday will mark the first full day of classes. Next week, students head off for a few days of adventure-packed overnight camping trips designed to foster new friendships and unforgettable experiences.

 

While the students are off on their camping escapades, join us for a special reception at the Head of School’s house on Thursday, September 12. Mark your calendars for other significant events this year, including Homecoming on Saturday, Sept. 28, An Andrean Christmas at Roy Thomson Hall on Friday, Dec. 13, and the highly anticipated Red & White Gala on Saturday, April 26.
