The Middle School Cadet Corps program promotes experiential learning, teamwork, outdoor education skills, and personal development. All grade 8 students are full members of the Corps and participate in training every Thursday from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m. from September to March and from 3:45 to 5:30 p.m. in April and May.

Students in grades 5, 6, and 7 are not involved in the Corps but are encouraged to attend the ceremonial events in third term with the annual Cadet Inspection being compulsory attendance.

Middle School Cadets are provided with a uniform consisting of a green Cadet tunic, short-sleeved shirt, trousers, belt, and a glengarry or ball cap.
