Among our many traditions, one of the oldest and most colourful is the #142 St. Andrew’s College Highland Cadet Corps. The Cadet program was established in 1905 and has evolved over the past century into a broad-based spectrum of leadership training that teaches teamwork, and recognizes both individual and group achievement.
This leadership journey, which starts in Grade 8 and continues until Grade 12, allows SAC students the opportunity to rise through the ranks and lead their peers in the establishment of future leaders in our community as well as in society.
The Cadet Corps training year culminates in three annual ceremonial events:
Church Parade - Parents and friends welcome
Headmaster's Inspection
Annual Cadet Inspection
Throughout the year there are other special events such as the Remembrance Day Service, Wellington Dinner & Leadership Lecture; and a Celtic Concert.
For more information on SAC’s Cadet Corps contact the Commanding Officer,
Major Brian McCue.
